Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood Sweater Drive

The Pope County Library System is participating in the annual PBS Sweater Drive.  Help your neighbors in need by dropping off your gently used or new sweaters at any Pope County library during the month of November.

Join the fun as we build literacy, motor skills, and community through rhymes, songs, books, and hands-on activities for children and their parents.

Join us for a special Storytime with Dr. Tammy Benson from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library!  Families are invited sign up to participate in the Imagination Library program.

Dr. Benson maintains a strong research agenda that includes mentoring, reading intervention strategies, and dyslexia training, as well as leadership and its impact on quality teacher education programs and K-12 schools.  She loves to volunteer and serves on several boards that advocate for literacy for young children and families.

On the second Monday of each month, the Imagination Library will bring us a special reader from the community.
