Come visit us during Pickle Fest. Here's our Saturday schedule.  Most activities will be held on the front lawn, but you are welcome to come into the library (especially for the puppet show!).

Unattended Children (ages 0-11)


Children 11 and under must be accompanied by a responsible party and shall be adequately supervised by such responsible parent or caregiver at all times for the sake of their own well-being.
 

 

Unattended Minors (ages 12-19)

While children 12 years and older may use the library unattended, they are required to adhere to library rules and expectations of acceptable behavior.  Disruptive juveniles may be asked to disperse at the librarian’s discretion. Any minor unable to travel alone must be picked up prior to closing.

Come see the Pope County Library Bookmobile and the Genealogy Department at Picklefest! The Bookmobile will have games and crafts, and the Genealogy Department will do oral history interviews as part the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Library Card

Library cards are free and valid for one (1) year. The Library System has no minimum age for a patron to obtain a library card. Anyone can use the resources of the Pope County Library, but only registered patrons may borrow library materials. Cardholders are responsible for all items checked out on their cards, whether the card is used by the owner of the card or anyone else. Hora de Cuento es tiempo en Español diseñada especialmente para nuestras familias hispanas.  Desarrolle la alfabetización, las habilidades motoras y la comunidad, así como conéctese con los recursos del idioma español a través de nuestra biblioteca.

Hora de Cuento is a Spanish language storytime designed especially for our Hispanic families.  Build literacy, motor skills, and community as well as connect with Spanish language resources through our library.

Nuestros amigos de ARVALA colaboran en este programa y nos ayudan a promover la alfabetización familiar y bilingüe. Esta colaboracion es posible por el apollo de Adult Learning Alliance of Arkansas, the Arkansas Division of Workforce Services, the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, y the Pope County Community Foundation.
