Any minor unable to travel alone must be picked up prior to closing.

Come see the Pope County Library Bookmobile and the Genealogy Department at Picklefest! The Bookmobile will have games and crafts, and the Genealogy Department will do oral history interviews as part the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Library cards are free and valid for one (1) year. The Library System has no minimum age for a patron to obtain a library card. Anyone can use the resources of the Pope County Library, but only registered patrons may borrow library materials. Cardholders are responsible for all items checked out on their cards, whether the card is used by the owner of the card or anyone else. Do you enjoy board  games? Join us on Fridays at 3pm for a fun time. We play anything from checkers to tabletop role playing games.
