Event Details
Sensory hour is for kids with sensory sensitivity and will include the following:
- Reduced noise
- Reduced bright lights
- Quiet space
- Sensory bins
- Less stimulating environment
- Sensory activities
- Outdoor activities (weather permitting)
- Modified calmer experience

Unattended Children (ages 0-11)
Children 11 and under must be accompanied by a responsible party and shall be adequately supervised by such responsible parent or caregiver at all times for the sake of their own well-being.
Unattended Minors (ages 12-19)
While children 12 years and older may use the library unattended, they are required to adhere to library rules and expectations of acceptable behavior. Disruptive juveniles may be asked to disperse at the librarian’s discretion. Any minor unable to travel alone must be picked up prior to closing.
