Come meet local author Tasia C. Taylor, who will be here to read her newest book Ice Cream Disaster and share an activity. Afterwards, make your very own Ice Cream Sundae! 

Tasia C. Taylor is a young author, bio and adoptive mother, christian speaker and teacher. After graduating from Van Buren High School, Tasia attended Arkansas Tech University and finished her degree in Elementary Education. In the four years since graduation, Tasia has published her debut novel, Finding Freedom, adopted three teenagers through foster care, worked as a kindergarten teacher, and served at her church, First Baptist Church of Dardanelle. Tasia is on track to publish four children's books in  2025: Ice Cream Disaster, Made With Love, Splash Pad Fiasco, and Nobody Hits My Uncle

Unattended Children (ages 0-11)


Children 11 and under must be accompanied by a responsible party and shall be adequately supervised by such responsible parent or caregiver at all times for the sake of their own well-being.
 

 

Unattended Minors (ages 12-19)

While children 12 years and older may use the library unattended, they are required to adhere to library rules and expectations of acceptable behavior.  Disruptive juveniles may be asked to disperse at the librarian’s discretion. Any minor unable to travel alone must be picked up prior to closing.
